RENTAL AGREEMENTS

We are excited to provide you with a fun and memorable time on the water. To ensure a smooth experience, please take a moment to review the following important details about your rental.

PONTOON RENTAL

Driver Requirements & Safety:

  • The driver must be at least 21 years old with experience
    Lakes can be busy and rough. You need to know what you’re doing out there. Use our Captain Services!
    Driver MUST NOT drink alcohol or be under the influence of drugs.
  • We ultimately have the final decision if we think you are capable of renting our pontoon or not. We have the option to cancel the rental if we think you are not capable.
  • Follow all local boating laws, wear life jackets, and adhere to speed limits and no-wake zones.
  • All passengers must be present at time of instruction so they can sign the checkout form and waiver.

Respect & Conduct Policy:

  • We welcome all families and parties! We do not accept groups that are unruly, disrespectful or heavily under the influence. We provide luxury equipment and service with respect and expect the same back!
  • Any negative behavior will result in an additional charge up to $500

Damage & Responsibility:

  • We document the entire unit including the propeller before every departure. Any new damage or missing equipment will be charged accordingly. We encourage you to take as many pictures as you can!
  • Return the pontoon in the same condition it was rented to avoid additional charges.
  • Renters are responsible for safe operation and ensuring passengers behave appropriately.
  • Renters are Expected to arrive on time for your reservation. We recommend arriving at least 30 minutes before your start time.
  • Renters are also expected to return at or before the specified end time. Being late may result in a fee of up to $400 for lost time of the next reservation.

Damage Deposits:

  • We require a $1000 damage deposit charged on a valid credit card. This is due at the beginning of  the reservation. You will get this back in full after the rental inspection IF there is no new damage.
  • Failure to Bring Credit Card may result in Cancellation of reservation without refund.

Cancellation Policy:

  • Same-Day Cancellations:
    Customers who cancel within 24 hours of their rental start time will not be eligible for any refund or credit (with limited exceptions). The full payment made by the customer will be retained by Relax & Rent.
  • Within 7 Days Cancellation:
    If a renter cancels their reservation within 7 days of the scheduled rental time, they will not be eligible for a refund. However, the renter will receive a reschedule credit equal to the full amount of the original rental fee. This credit can be applied toward a future rental and must be used within 30 days of the original rental date. Rescheduled rentals are subject to availability, and pricing may vary based on seasonal rates.Failure to use the reschedule credit within the allowed timeframe will result in forfeiture of the credit. No exceptions will be made.
  • Exceptions to the Same-Day Cancellation Policy:
    If you feel you have a special circumstance that warrants a refund despite late cancellation, please call as soon as you are aware that you will not be able to make your rental. Exceptions will be made on a case by case basis, based at the sole discretion of Relax & Rent. Thank you for your understanding.
  • Inclement Weather:
    Does not require a 24-hour notice, but clients MUST call and speak to a reservationist or leave a voice message. Bad weather often passes, and you may want to go out once weather clears or reschedule for a different date. No penalty or change fees for cancellations or changes due to bad weather.

TENT RENTAL

Respect & Conduct Policy:

  • We provide luxury equipment and service with respect and expect the same back!
  • Any negative behavior will result in an additional charge up to $500
  • There is NO SMOKING in the tent. This tent is often used for birthday parties for children. You may be responsible for a new tent if the tent smells of any kind of smoke

Damage & Responsibility:

  • We document the entire unit before every departure. Any new damage or missing equipment will be charged accordingly. We encourage you to take as many pictures as you can!
  • Tent must be in the same condition it was when delivered to avoid additional charges.
  • Renters are responsible for safe operation.
  • It is your responsibility to ensure there is enough space for this tent. When deflated, it measures 40’ x 40’. If there isn’t sufficient space upon arrival and setup is not possible, a fee of up to $100 may be charged.
